      <image:title>Clinical - Clinical Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>My approach to psychotherapy is characterized by an open, non-judgmental perspective on helping clients foster a more connected, meaningful life. I focus on individual strengths and potential while helping patients reduce symptoms and cope more effectively with life’s stressors. I want to be your company on a journey towards a more meaningful and connected life. I have specialized training in working with individuals with chronic illness and/or eating and weight-related problems, including children, adolescents, college students, and adults. There are several treatments that we know work because they have strong scientific evidence supporting them. I draw from several of these treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), radically open DBT (RO-DBT), meaning-centered psychotherapy (MCP), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions (SPACE) and family-based therapy (FBT). People often come to a therapist because they want to talk about being anxious, being lonely, feeling depressed, having difficulty in relationships, or having a hard time taking care of themselves and others. Therapy can help individuals who hope to grow through introspection, reduce stress levels, manage burnout, build resilience, foster connection, and find awe, meaning, and purpose.</image:caption>
